It's honestly somewhat comforting to him that there's some version out there to deal with the war so he himself can firmly leave Remnant in the past and focus on the new life he's been building here. Even so, he wouldn't really want to be confronted with alternate versions of him either.]

If that Remnant ran across the same lines as mine, it's probably not a good ending, no. Huntsmen don't tend to last that long out there in general, and then you bring Salem into the equation for those of us in Oz's inner circle...
