• Reconciled with Ozpin over ~6-7 months, forgave him fully as the dream began to collapse
• Formed a truce with Emerald Sustrai, built up to a friendship, and eventually led to honorary niece status
• Grew closer to Oscar Pine, leading to honorary nephew status
• Began a romantic relationship with Clover Ebi
Canon update to end of volume 8
• Learned of Ruby & Yang falling into a void of time and space during the fall of Atlas and solidified his decision to be done with Remnant
• Developed a strong friendship with Gerry Keay from the Magnus Archives. The fact of his dead status outside of the dream and his disappearance with the dream's collapse (since he won't be apped to Deer Country) will lead Qrow to finally properly mourn Clover's death in Remnant after spending about 6 months in denial or avoidance of thinking about his eventual fate


Deer Country Attributes


• Canon Powers:
▶ Aura - Every person in the RWBY universe has the ability to manifest their soul for use in combat. It can function as a defensive shield, protecting one’s body from injury (albeit not pain) and healing it over time, as well as offensively project out as a shockwave. However, Aura is limited, and becomes depleted with continual use--leaving the user’s body vulnerable while it recharges. Warping: His aura will deplete faster and recharge slower, leaving him able to take much less damage before becoming vulnerable and need more time before he can protect himself again.

▶ Semblance: Additionally, individuals in the RWBY universe can unlock a secondary dimension of their Aura, an ability unique to them. Qrow’s semblance--Misfortune--is a special case; unlike other semblances in the series, it is constantly active and uncontrollable in its effects, bringing bad luck to himself and everyone within his physical vicinity unpredictably. He is said to be able to amplify the extent to which this happens by spending his Aura, but it otherwise appears to be independent from the level of Aura he has; during his fight with Salem’s lieutenant Tyrian, a ceiling support beam nearly falls on Ruby even after his Aura breaks.

▶ Crow Transformation - As part of magic granted to him by Ozpin, Qrow is able to freely transform between a crow (with full flight capability) and a human.

These powers will remain intact in Deer Country.

• Blood Power Manifestation:
- Prophetic visions: Qrow will occasionally have flashes of visions of the future, specifically as related to danger. He may, for instance, foresee that an awning across the street is about to crumble upon a person walking beneath it, or he might, during a danger event, predict the exact timing and location of a particular monster attack. Similarly, he may have a vision of a safe haven or shelter during a particularly dangerous moment. These visions will typically come randomly and unpredictably, but with time he'll find he can induce them by drawing his own blood. These visions will be longer and clearer at night, and especially as the moon waxes. They will be at their maximum potential on full moon nights.

- Dreamwalking: Qrow will find himself drawn into others' dreams and nightmares from time to time. He won't have any particular control over this ability; it may happen when he himself is asleep, or he might find himself drawn into the dream of close CR if he happens to be in physical proximity while they sleep and his own guard is lowered. In cases of intense emotional distress or corruption, he may unwittingly draw others into his own nightmares.

- Utility in rituals/Pthumerian summonings: Qrow will be able to lend his blood for use in blood rituals and summonings for Pthumerians. Summonings for his patron (the Moss King) or ones he builds connections with in game will be more potent.

- Telepathy - Qrow will be able to reach out to the minds of others in urgent situations, usually when other means of communication are unavailable. He may also receive telepathic echoes of others' distress, similar to the prophetic visions. Over time, he may be able to form telepathic bonds with close CR, though it will take effort from both parties to cultivate. If he is experiencing moderate or severe corruption he will not be able to use this ability at all.

Qrow's blood powers will be weaker than his canon powers in Deer Country.
