It could do that- I mean that's the risk you take with trying to trust anyone. But I think what's happening with Oz just hits a little closer to home for her. I think if she had some perspective from the other other side it might calm her down about that. You have to remember that you're awesomeness really overshadows things like that, Uncle Qrow. If she sees that you struggle with something like that too and manage it. It might give her a bit more faith in Oz.

...At the same time, now that she's asked, he doesn't want to just brush it off with something like hey don't worry about it, I'm fine He has been trying to do better than that, since Argus.
Somehow it's easier to address the latter, even as much as it's painful. Trust is not something he gives out freely; he's habitually cynical and paranoid, burned enough times that he expects fire around every corner, even as he puts on his most flammable clown shoes for others again and again.]
