Nonetheless, he does not seem to share her shit-eating grin or even wear a particularly smug expression of his own going into this fight, as he usually might. He looks...tired, honestly. Worn out in that way only a person who is too stressed to exist can, and he doesn't even bother with trash talk when he takes Harbinger off his back and extends it into its full scythe form.]
No death blows. [he confirms, at last, though he does not stop talking there] But I'm planning to go until one of us stops getting up. You still in?
[She nodded and shifted her stance, bringing the umbrella forward at a low angle. Her free hand reached up, crooking fingers to beckon him over. She hadn't admitted it, but part of her was screaming in pain too. She needed it as much as him, even if she didn't realize it.
